## What Sphygmos is

Sphygmos is software for doctors and clinical teams. It is not a consumer health app and not an autonomous medical provider. It supports doctor-led clinical work with AI-assisted reasoning, dictation, consult recording, patient records, clinical documents, results review, follow-ups, scheduling, and billing preparation.

## Core live capabilities

- Ask Sphygmos: clinical questions, differential diagnoses, must-not-miss considerations, missing data, and next-step support for doctor review.
- Dictation: doctor-spoken notes cleaned into readable clinical documentation.
- Consult recorder: doctor-patient conversation capture with structured note output and doctor approval.
- Patient records: patient database, timelines, cases, uploaded files, clinical notes, and pre-consult briefs.
- Clinical documents: prescriptions, referrals, sick notes, PMB motivations, RAF, COIDA, Section 21, and related documents through guided workflows.
- Results and files: uploaded lab reports, radiology reports, PDFs, images, and documents can be reviewed and tracked.
- Follow-up loop: unresolved work, tasks, results review, and actions can be surfaced in Pulse.
- Billing preparation: invoices, debtors, missing details, and manual claims-readiness work are supported.
- Team support: doctor, admin, and locum-oriented workflows.
- WhatsApp-ready patient messaging: the product is being prepared for WhatsApp Business messaging with consent and delivery controls. It should be described as live only after the channel is activated and tested.

## South African context

Sphygmos is built first for South African doctors across private rooms, clinics, hospitals, and public-sector services. It includes South African medical-aid and clinical-administration workflows where available. Doctor review remains required.

## Not currently marketed as live

- Automated claims switching is not live until a switching-provider agreement, connection, and testing are complete.
- Direct lab and radiology integrations are not live until provider agreements, connection, and testing are complete.
- WhatsApp messaging is expected to go live after the Meta channel, approved wording, consent checks, and delivery controls are activated and tested.
